SPS Misery Box: isn't that normally called a ‘Mystery Box’?
Yes, they are in themselves. But our Misery boxes are different.
As a beginner in marine aquariums, it was always a special attraction for me to pick up brown or damaged corals as bargains from the dealers. The challenge lies in getting the animals back in shape and seeing what colors develop from the corals. And that's exactly what our Misery Boxes are all about.
We always have offshoots of our corals in the coral nursery that are not so pretty or damaged and are therefore not normally listed in the store. This is a cross-section of our range. These corals are not so pretty, but they are far too good to throw away.
In a Misery Box you get 7-10 SPS corals that we have discarded from our store, but which still have a chance of turning from ugly ducklings into beautiful corals with the right care.
