CTO - Cut to Order

If you order this coral, delivery will be delayed by 2 weeks.

You will receive an offshoot from the mother stock,
that we set up for you.

The photos are sample pictures of animals
of this species from our breed.

It usually takes two weeks before the cuttings are ready for shipping. If the offshoot disintegrates during this time, we will plant a new offshoot if the mother stock is suitable. If this is not the case, we will refund the purchase price.

This coral is a signature coral and comes from German captive breeding.

Description

Offshoots of the signature corals, fragmented just for you.

Cut to order' means that we make a cuttings of this coral especially for you when you order. After two weeks, the offshoot will have healed sufficiently for us to send it to you.

The cuttings are glued to a plug with hot glue. We have found that this is the gentlest method of attaching offshoots to the plug. After two weeks, the coral has healed sufficiently for us to send it out. However, some species will not form a basal disk during this time, but are still fit for shipping.

Why are the CTO offshoots more expensive than normal frags?

We set up the CTO offshoots especially for you and send you a photo of the coral before shipping. This gives you a more personalized service than with the other offshoots and in most cases you have direct access to the corals and don't have to wait in the store updates to get hold of your signature coral. However, this also means more work for us, which is why these offshoots are more expensive than regular offshoots.

Tom's tip: "First check whether normal offshoots are available. You can save money there."
