Depending on the number of rotary units to be controlled, the controller is available in different sizes.

- A suitable controller is required to operate the OceanMotion rotary units
- The OceanMotion may only be operated with the controller intended for this purpose
- The OceanMotion may only be operated out of the water. The OceanMotion is not waterproof, the housing only protects the drive from splashing water
