If there's one thing we've learned during coronavirus, it's how to waste unnecessary time in video conferences. But the technology can also be put to good use - to store for corals, for example.

How does remote shopping work at Toms Korallen?
- You book an appointment and let us know which corals you are interested in. Then we can prepare the appointment optimally.
- Then you will receive an invitation to a Zoom video meeting
- In the video session we show you the corals
- At the same time, we place an order, which you can view in the video as well as in your customer center.
- After receipt of payment we will send you the corals on the agreed date.
What is Remote Shopping for?
- You would like to have a special coral, but want to take another look to see if it is really fit? FOR EXAMPLE: What does your dream euphy look like from below, does it have enough tissue?
- You want to buy a CTO coral, but would like to take a look at the mother stock first? No problem, we'll get it in front of the camera.
- Perhaps there is an offshoot of a coral that is not listed in the store? Ask and we'll take a look.

FAQ
What technology do I need to take part in remote shopping?
Basically, any device that runs Zoom will work. This can be a laptop, PC, Mac, tablet or cell phone. However, the display should be large enough to show the corals in large format. Of course, you also need a sufficiently fast internet connection.
Do I have to install software to take part in Remote Shopping?
Basically no. Zoom is also available as a web app that can be opened in the browser. However, the quality of the session is better if you install the app. The details on how to do this will be sent to you with the appointment invitation.
Why do I have to buy an appointment for €0?
There are two reasons for this:
- You need a customer account so that we can put together your order during the session. And this is created when you book.
- This is a legal issue. You need to agree to the terms and conditions and the declaration of withdrawal in advance. And this is done via the purchase.
Can I also chat with Tom during the session and go through my aquarium problems?
No. That's not what remote shopping is for.
