Acropora zählen zu den anspruchsvollsten SPS-Korallen und bilden verzweigte oder tafelartige Kolonien mit intensiver Fluoreszenz. Sie reagieren empfindlich auf Schwankungen der Wasserwerte und gelten als typische High-End-Riffkorallen.
Light
Sehr hohe Lichtintensität im oberen Riffaufbau ist ideal. Besonders blaulastige Beleuchtung unterstützt Farbentwicklung und Wachstum.
Flow
Eine starke, turbulente und wechselnde Strömung verhindert Ablagerungen zwischen den Ästen.
Nutrients
Niedrige bis mittlere Nährstoffwerte bei gleichzeitig hoher Stabilität fördern intensive Farben.
Futter
Neben Licht profitieren Acropora von Aminosäuren, Staubfutter und feinem Zooplankton.
