Montipora wachsen je nach Art plattenförmig, verzweigt oder krustend und gelten als vergleichsweise robuste SPS-Korallen. Viele Varianten zeigen auffällige Polypenfarben und schnelles Wachstum.

Mittlere bis hohe Beleuchtung unterstützt kompaktes Wachstum und kräftige Farben.
Flow
Eine wechselnde mittlere bis starke Strömung hält die Oberfläche frei von Sedimenten.
Nutrients
Montipora vertragen leicht höhere Nährstoffe besser als viele Acropora-Arten.
Futter
